Statement Of Faith

The Bible – We believe the King James Bible to be the inspired holy words of Almighty God. It is perfect, and we make no apologies for it. We believe it by FAITH. (2 Tim. 3:15-17, Ps. 12:6-7) We reject ALL other English versions.

The Trinity – We believe in God as three persons in one: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Jesus Christ is not only the Son of God, but God manifest in the flesh. The Holy Spirit is more than a force. He is a Person. (1 Tim 3:16, Eph 4:30, 1 Jn. 5:7, 5:20)

The Depravity of Man – We believe that man has an inherent sin nature and dead spirit. This does not hinder man from making the decision to receive God’s gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. God would not give a call to repentance and invite sinners to come to Jesus if man were incapable of believing and responding to the admonitions of the Gospel. Men are free to accept or reject God’s offer for salvation. Jesus died for all sinners and God is not willing that any should perish. (Rom. 3:10, 23, 5:12, 2 Pt. 3:9) We reject Calvinism.

Salvation – We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a free gift. (Rom. 10:9-10, Eph. 2:8-9) We reject ALL religions that connect works to salvation.

Eternal Security – We believe that when a lost sinner receives salvation he is made a child of God and is unconditionally secure. The work that takes place in the new birth is irreversible. A Christian can lose his testimony, joy, health, rewards, and many other things, but NEVER salvation. (Jn. 10:28, Gal 6:7, Phil 1:6, 1 Jn. 5:13)

Baptism – We believe that water baptism should take place AFTER salvation by immersion in water. This is to be done as a public testimony in obedience to Christ. Baptism is an ordinance but is NOT a means of grace. (Matt. 3:13-17, Acts 8:35-39) We reject infant baptism.

The Lord’s Supper – We believe this is the only other ordinance besides baptism. We believe in an open communion for any born again believer that is present. This is to be done in remembrance of Jesus’ sufferings for us and NOT as a means of grace. (Luke 22:19-20, 1 Cor 11:23-34) We reject the notion of a “Baptist bride”.

Separation – We believe that the present world is evil and a Christian should be living in the knowledge that he is a pilgrim and stranger here. Satan is the god of the present world system and a Christian should follow the Bible regardless of the apostasy and perilous times we are living in. (2 Cor. 6:14-18, Gal 1:4, 1 Jn. 2:15, 5:19)

Evangelism – We believe that ALL Bible-believers have a calling to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to lost sinners. If a Christian is not actively pursuing lost souls, he is living as a disobedient Christian. Tract distribution, street preaching, and house-to-house visiting are some clear scriptural methods of putting forth the gospel. (Acts 20:20, 1 Cor 9:16)

Signs and Apostolic Gifts – We believe in a moderate dispensational teaching that signs and miracles are primarily for the nation of Israel. The counterfeits of these works put out by the Charismatics and Apostolics are exercised mainly in the flesh, and often minister unclean spirits and devils to the participants. (Mk. 16:17-20, 1 Cor. 1:22, 2 Thess. 2:9, 2 Tim 2:15)

Hell – We believe in a literal Hell and future Lake of Fire. It was originally prepared for the devil and his angels, and continues to enlarge herself to receive the souls of men that reject the righteousness of God through the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who go to hell are tormented for eternity. (Mk 9:44, 46, 48, Lk. 16:23, Rev. 20:15) There is no such place as purgatory.

The Rapture – We believe in a Premillenial, Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the body of Christ. We believe that this event is imminent. (1 Cor. 15:51-52, 1 Thess. 4:5-18, Rev 4-19) All unbelievers will be left behind.

The 2nd Coming – We believe at the end of the Great Tribulation, also called the “time of Jacob’s trouble”, that the Lord Jesus Christ will physically return with the saints in glory at the battle of Armageddon. Israel will be saved and Jesus will reign as King from Jerusalem for 1,000 years of peace on earth. (Jer 30:7, Jn. 14:3, Rev 20:6)

Israel We believe that Israel is still God’s chosen people (Duet 7:6, 14:2), the apple of God’s eye (Zech 2:8), and most certainly BLESSED (Gen 12:3) according to the clear promises of scripture. There will be a complete and total restoration for Israel and the promises given to the nation will ALL be literally fulfilled when their blindness is taken away and the fullness of the Gentiles is accomplished. (Rom 11:25-29) We reject Replacement Theology.
